About Senior High School
ISCAHM Senior High School (SHS) started in 2016 and opened an opportunity for students to prepare earlier for their sought-after career in the culinary industry.
ISCAHM SHS is being offered under the Technical Vocational (Tech-Voc) Track, Home Economics strand. Our specialized course for Grade 11 is Cookery NC II. Whereas, Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Food and Beverage Services NCII are offered for Grade 12. As all courses are TESDA-registered, students are eligible to take the national assessment upon completion of these and earn TESDA certificates.
Classes are generally held on weekdays from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. We offer core subjects in adherence to the standards of the Department of Education in terms of implementing the K-12 curriculum.
ISCAHM also recognizes the Voucher Program in all our campuses. We process this for all our students who avail of the program.
WHY ISCAHM?
1. FACULTY - Most of our academic faculty have no less than a masteral degree. Our chef-instructors have many years of industry experience. Together, they provide our Senior High School students with high-caliber instruction.
2. CAREER PATH - Our SHS curriculum is designed to prepare our students to take the Professional Course. If a student decides to continue on to the Professional Course, he or she will have an opportunity to earn an Australian Certificate recognized in Australia and the Commonwealth of Nations.
3. HANDS-ON FILLED CURRICULUM - During the week, one whole day is dedicated for the tech-voc specialized subject. There is a half day of lecture and another half for kitchen laboratory, giving them all the opportunity for a hands-on cooking or baking experience.
4. CERTIFICATION - Three (3) certificates may be earned upon completion of Grades 11 and 12. These are: TESDA NCII Certificate in Cookery, NCII Certificate in Bread and Pastry Production and NCII Certificate in Food and Beverage Services. These certificates are recognized by the Philippine government for entry-level occupation and are the minimum requirements for overseas employment.
